A Place of Prayer Community Outreach is a nonprofit organization that exists to meet people where they are; offering food, essentials, Economic and Life skills Programs, spiritual encouragement, and connection to resources that restore dignity and hope. We serve alongside local shelters, warming centers, churches, and community partners across Rockford, IL

in Rockford. By combining prayer with actionable training and support, we aim to strengthen families, empower individuals, and build a healthier community.

Offering job-specific skills training, career development workshops, and personalized guidance to prepare individuals for meaningful employment and economic stability.
Building Bridges
Navigating available resources can be overwhelming. We provide personalized guidance and support, helping individuals identify and access the proper help for housing, food and healthcare services they need.
